Registering

How do I become a registered vendor on your site?
Go to our vendor registration page and complete the form that follows.

How do I become a registered user on your site?
Click the Register link at the top of the home page and complete the form that follows.

How do I get access to edit my company listings?
Please register as a new vendor and include your company information. You will then be able to interact with your company’s listings.

I am a PR person representing several companies. Why can’t I register with more than one company?
For security reasons, we only allow a person to register with one company through our site. However, we do realize that as a PR professional, you might need to register with several companies and we can provide that service to you on our end. Simply e-mail us with a list of the companies you need to be associated with and tell us why.

Submitting Company, Product and White Paper Listings

How do I submit my company listing?
First you’ll need to register as a vendor. Once registered, you will be able to submit your company and product information. Please allow 2 business days for your listings to be approved by the Ziff Davis editors.

How do I submit a product listing?
To submit a product, you must first register as your official company representative. Once registered, you will be able to submit your product listings through your Account Preferences, by clicking “Submit products” in the bottom navigation, or by clicking the “List your products on the Web Buyer’s Guide” button in the right hand margin of any page. Please allow 2 business days for your listings to be approved by the Ziff Davis editors.

How do I submit a white paper?
To submit a white paper, you must first register as your official company representative. Once registered, you will be able to submit your white papers through your Account Preferences, by clicking “Submit white papers” in the bottom navigation, or by clicking the “List your white papers on the Web Buyer’s Guide” button in the right hand margin of any page.

Your white paper listing will be reviewed and verified by a Ziff Davis Editor. New listings are generally live within 5 – 10 business days. You will be notified by e-mail when your white paper listing has been approved and is posted.

I just submitted my company listing– where is it?
After submitting your company listing information, it is sent to a Ziff Davis Editor for review and verification. New listings are generally live within 2 business days.

I just submitted my product listing – where is it?
After submitting your product or service listing information, it is sent to a Ziff Davis Editor for review and verification. New listings are generally live within 2 business days. You will be notified by e-mail when your product listing has been approved and is posted.

I just submitted my white paper listing – where is it?
After submitting your white paper listing information, it is sent to a Ziff Davis Editor for review and verification. New listings are generally live within 5 – 10 business days. You will be notified by e-mail when your product listing has been approved and is posted.

How do I link my product listing to additional categories?
Login and go to your Account Preferences. Choose “Manage Products”. Choose “Modify” next to the product you wish to change. Then scroll down and check the boxes of the categories you wish for your product to be associated with and click Submit.

Editing Listings

I registered. Why can’t I enter a product?
It’s possible that you are registered as a user which only allows you to view the Buyer’s Guide. In order to submit company, product or service listings you must also register as a vendor. To do so, click here and complete the form that follows.

Once you have registered, you will be able to submit your listings. Please allow 2 business days for your listings to be approved by our Editors and uploaded to our site.

Our registered company rep left our company. How can I get access to our listings?
You will need to register as one of your company representatives. At the end of the registration process, please be sure to associate yourself with the existing company info.

Listing Upgrades

What is a basic product listing?
A basic product or service listing includes your company information, a product description, and any specifications you may add such as operating system, product type and delivery. Your product listing will appear alphabetically within the categories you choose. All basic listings are free.

What is a basic white paper listing?
A basic white paper listing includes a brief (60 characters) description, an abstract (300 characters) and information such as publish date, length and format. You may upload your white paper to be hosted on our site or you may provide a URL link. Your white paper listing will appear alphabetically within the topic sections you choose. All basic listings are free.

Will my listing appear across the entire Ziff Davis Internet network?
Your listing will appear on every site across the network that contains your product category and/or white paper topic section.

Why would I upgrade my listing?
Upgrading your product or white paper listing is a cost effective, targeted way to increase your visibility on our site, boost traffic to your site, generate leads and sell more products.

We offer a variety of upgrade options ranging from premium, showcase positions to lower cost yet still effective upgrades such as logo additions and Buy-Now URL links.

Passwords

I lost my password, what do I do?
Your user name and password can be retrieved by going here and typing in your e-mail address. The information will be e-mailed to you.

My password isn’t working
Check the e-mail that you received from us containing your password, and cut and paste your user id and password directly from that message. This will reduce the margin for error.

My password is not being sent to me
Check to see that you registered with the correct e-mail address. Sometimes, people have several e-mail addresses and forget which one they signed up with. It’s possible that you could have two different user ids and passwords affiliated with your company, or have the wrong e-mail listed.

Press Release Submission

Could you post my press release?
We do not post press releases at this time, but you can forward your press release on to our editors by clicking here. Although they don’t post press releases, they will be interested to review the information for consideration for upcoming articles at their discretion.

Error Messages

I just got an error message – what does this mean?
An error message means that page you’re currently searching for is temporarily unavailable. Please contact us and tell us what error message you are receiving and on what page so the editors can fix the problem immediately.

What We Do

We are a directory of products and services for the computer and networking industry. As such, we are not a place to ask questions if you’re having problems with a company’s service or have a question about a company in general. You need to contact the company you have a question about (in regards to their shipping, or problem with a product) directly.
